Pour la 4ème année consécutive, l’Amicale des Anciens de Jamhour organise une rencontre islamo-chrétienne autour de Marie.


Décrété fête nationale chômée, le 25 mars de chaque année est désormais un rendez-vous fixe où chrétiens et musulmans se retrouvent autour de Marie qui les rassemble.

Cette rencontre ouverte au grand public se tiendra au Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour, le jeudi 25 mars 2010 à 16h00 précises.

Au programme : chants, prières, interventions, témoignages, chants soufi, projections, etc.

Les intervenants principaux de la rencontre de 2010 seront :
Lech Walesa : ancien président de la Pologne, Prix Nobel de la Paix (1983),
Cheikh Malek Al Chaar, Mufti de Tripoli.

Cette rencontre de prière et de partage sera suivie d'une série de manifestations officielles et festives à la place du Musée et la place des Martyrs à Beyrouth.


UNE EXPOSITION DE PHOTOS ET DE LIVRES EST EGALEMENT PREVUE - AVEC LA PARTICIPATION DE DR. PAMELA CHRABIEH BADINE - DANS LE CADRE DE CETTE RENCONTRE AU COLLEGE NOTRE-DAME DE JAMHOUR.

For the 4th consecutive year, the Association of Former students of Jamhour organizes an Islamic-Christian encounter around Mary.

Declared as nonworking national holiday, March 25 of each year is now a regular appointment in Lebanon in which Christians and Muslims gather around Mary who brings them together.

This encounter is open to the general public and will be held at Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 16:00 sharp.

Program: songs, prayers, speeches, testimonies, Sufi songs, projections, etc.

The main speakers of the meeting of 2010 will be:
Lech Walesa: Former President of Poland, Nobel Peace (1983)
Sheikh Malek al-Shaar, Mufti of Tripoli.



A PHOTO AND BOOK EXHIBITION (with the participation of Dr. Pamela Chrabieh Badine) will also be held as part of the festivities at Jamhour's College.

This prayer meeting and sharing will be followed by a series of official events and festivities at the Museum Square and Martyrs Square in Beirut!

- Religion and State and Its Effects on Cultural Diversity within a Country (How can a healthy or an unhealthy relationship affect the cultural life of a nation or religion and its cultural diversity?)
